-Former Florida State head coach Bobby Bowden likes FSU's chances of repeating as national champions, writes Jim Henry of the Tallahassee Democrat

-Miami quarterback Ryan Williams aims to be back in time to start the Hurricanes September 1st season opener vs. Louisville after tearing his ACL in April. Color me skeptical, but this would be an amazing physical feat.

-Shakin The Southland has a pretty cool piece on offensive line basics. I always enjoy these technical pieces that various SB Nation sites put out.

-Athlon Sports lists Matthew Thomas as one of 20 defensive breakout players for 2014. I am thoroughly excited to see what this guy will do for the Noles this season.
