Fisher football camp began Wednesday, and this is the recruiting event Florida State fans have been waiting for. The Seminoles are looking to sign about 24-27 players in the class (27 only if they have studs beating down their door). This event looks to be extremely loaded.
As we saw with the last camp, FSU is being very selective and stingy with some offers. Having a "road" game at Miami in front of many South Florida recruits, and the uncertainty swirling in Gainesville, may yield opportunities for FSU to be in a position to grab some players it otherwise would not have landed. It needs to have spots open later in the year and not be in a position which forces it to tell numerous commits to look elsewhere.
I previewed the offensive players early Tuesday, and the guys on the defensive side of the ball on Tuesday night.
Wednesday's live observations can be found here, and the recap of Wednesday's action can be found here. Thursday's live observations were here, and I did a recap of the action on the offensive side of the ball. And all of our stories can be found here (a few must-reads).
Two big-time Georgia players are expected in Friday: TE Isaac Nauta, and DT Julian Rochester. Both are tremendous players, and both are in the class of 2016. I'll try to catch up with the pair after the session. FSU is in a great spot for Nauta, and has work to do with Rochester, from what I gather.
This will be your spot for live updates in the comment section. Keep in mind that this is a short session and there may not be that many updates.
Please feel free to ask about any player and Dustin Tackett or myself will try to get an answer for you.
