-NFL.com says Florida State's new uniforms are one of the best in college football. I disagree with #1 on this list, but a pretty interesting topic to discuss.
-Also from NFL.com, they continue their "Position U" series with "Wide Receiver U". Florida State makes another Top 5 appearance. What do you make of this list?
-David Hale of ESPN.com says the Noles have the best backfield in the ACC. Hard to argue as I feel Karlos Williams is headed for a monster season, not to mention the nice complimentary pieces of Dalvin Cook, Mario Pender, and Ryan Green.
-Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports put together his list of the most difficult paths to the College Football Playoff. Florida State checks in at #8 on his list. I think the Noles roll through Oklahoma State in the season opener and it helps to have Clemson, Notre Dame, and Florida at Doak Campbell Stadium in 2014.
-Alligator Army attempts to explain Aaron Hernandez's appearance on a Florida Gators team calendar. You know his deal, no need for me to explain further.
-What are college football's best units by conference?
-Here is ESPN's preview of Florida State. Seems to hit all the relevant boxes.
-Corey Clark went back 20 years and found some interesting items.
I've gone back last 20 years. I can't find any college football team that was favored by at least 2 TDs in every game. Until 2014 FSU.

The closest I could find was 2005 USC. Trojans were double-digit favorites in every regular-season game, but line was -12 at Notre Dame.

Of course, there is a slight issue here. The lines offered by the Golden Nugget aren't true "lines." They move incredibly quickly with each pop of $1,000, and the limits are tiny. They are more like props. If the real lines end up being 14+ in all games, that will be a ridiculous feat.
-Louisville is finding out that being in a division with Florida State and Clemson is not easy.
