Florida State received great news Monday on the recruiting trail. The defending national champions snagged a verbal commitment from running back recruit Johnny Frasier.
Frasier is a 5'11, 200-pound running back. He is widely considered one of the ten best running backs in the country and a top-100 player. The composite four-star recruit is rated No. 1 overall back by 247sports.

Frasier is strong, compact and with some seriously blazing speed. The competition he faces is quite poor at times, but he destroys it in the fashion that one would expect a nationally-rated running back should do.
Florida State beat out offers like Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Duke, LSU, Miami, South Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, UNC, Penn State, Wisconsin and others.
Frasier rushed for more than 3,000 yards and 45 touchdowns(!) in 2013.
Frasier is the first running back recruit of the 2015 class for the Seminoles. FSU is expected to take two running backs in the class, with the other most likely candidate being Orlando's Jacques Patrick.
