Melina Vastola-USA TODAY Sports

-Florida State opened Fall camp yesterday as myself and Dustin were in attendance. Dustin gives his thoughts and observations here in case you missed the practice report. The Noles will practice again today around 4:30 PM and both of us will be there to have a report for you later that evening.

-ESPN's David Hale takes a look at some of the ACC's underrated, potential break-out players for 2014. Two Noles make the cut on this list.

-Miami is having a well covered QB battle this fall to replace the departed Stephen Morris. State of the U, the Canes SB Nation site, breaks down the candidates with a chance at the job. The Noles, have already faced the favorite (Jake Heaps) to win the competition, once in his career while at BYU.

-Four-star WR recruit Auden Tate (6'4, 200) makes his decision today. Most recruiting experts including TN's own Bud Elliott expect that decision to be Florida State. He is set to announce around 11 AM ET, though some outlets have reported noon. We will have the story for you when it drops.

-Handling the hype will be key for Florida State, writes ESPN's Jared Shanker.

-ESPN previews Boston College. BC lost a ton of last year's squad that gave FSU a scare for a half.
