The Florida State Seminoles took to the practice fields once again Thursday afternoon as they began to finish up preparation for Saturday's game against visiting Clemson.
Justin Shanks seemed to be the only 'Nole that was without pads.
After Wednesday's news broke that Jameis Winston would miss the first half against the Tigers, the next step is Sean Maguire. Although the media did not have access during Thursday's walk-through, we did get to see Maguire throw the football quite a bit. I expect FSU to run the same offense they've been running with maybe a couple added plays here and there.
Nile Lawrence-Stample and Eddie Goldman continue to look more and more comfortable as the week has progressed coming back from their injuries against The Citadel. And Derrick Mitchell continues to be a consistent member of that starting group.
The wide receivers were really fired up Thursday, and I noticed Rashad Greene pep talking the rest of the receiving corps. Lamarcus Brutus, oddly enough, was catching some balls during the wide receiver drills. I'm assuming he was just working on his ball skills. Never hurts.
Jimbo Fisher and Sean Maguire will speak with the media following Thursday's practice and we'll bring you any updates.
