-CB Tyrek Cole (6'0, 173) decommitted from Florida State yesterday. Bud Elliott has been saying for weeks that Cole would not stick in this class. Cole later committed to West Virginia.

-Jared Shanker writes that Coach Fisher thinks suspending Jameis Winston for the first time "hit home" for the redshirt sophomore quarterback.

-More from Shanker as he writes Florida State showed why it deserved its number one ranking. I completely agree, as the Noles proved they were more than just Jameis Winston. Knowing how to win in a variety of ways is difficult and other teams have shown a propensity to find a way to lose in recent years (Oregon, Oklahoma, etc.).

-Nebraska star running back Ameer Abdullah gives some advice to Jameis Winston. The two are friends from back home in Alabama.

-Shakin the Southland thinks Clemson blew a huge opportunity Saturday night. This one will sting Tigers' fans for years to come.
