Since its origins in 1962, the FSU Sod Cemetery has been a place for Seminole Faithful to recall and celebrate historic road victories. As FSU's achievements on the field have grown, so too has the Sod Cemetery. Recently relocated, the Sod Cemetery has turned into a favorite game day attraction.
This season, for the first time, the Sod Cemetery becomes interactive. Two hours before each home kickoff, SodTalk will take place. What is SodTalk? SodTalk will be a live conversation with a Sod Captain or Captain, who will provide insights into those epic victories. Guests for the first ever SodTalk, at 5:30 p.m. this Saturday will be Aaron Carter and Amp Lee. Tomahawk Nation has been told that Leroy Butler (of Puntrooskie fame) will be the SodTalk guest for the Clemson game on September 20th, and Ron Sellers will visit SodTalk for the Wake Forest game on October 4th (more seasoned fans will recall his epic 5 TD, 260 yard explosion against Wake in 1968).
