Florida State escaped Dallas with a win last week. The 'Noles return home to Doak to play in front of a sell out crowd. This game will be a about correcting mistakes and getting young players in. Staying injury free and building depth are the most important items on the to do list. If everything goes as it should, look for the backup to be in by early 3rd quarter.

The Noon games are, well, they are football. Yes we'll watch them but dang it, their impact on the college football landscape will be exactly NULL. We don't even get two middle tier ACC teams slugging it out. So, just watch Oklahoma vs Tulsa and be glad you are still watching football.

The afternoon games get just a bit better with USC at Stanford. Both had blowouts over inferior opponents in week one. Stanford currently has the nation's longest home winning streak at 17. USC comes in as a 3 point dog. In other words, real close to coin flip. Will watch.
