A report late Monday night from 247sports indicated that JUCO defensive tackle Walvenski Aime, from Ft. Scott CC in Kansas, committed to Florida State. Aime is 6'4 or 6'5 and around 290 pounds, he had interest from Miami, Louisville and Auburn. FSU now has 18 commitments,12 of which are four-stars or better. Aime was committed to Miami for a time over the summer, but decommitted shortly thereafter.
FSU has had success with junior college linemen before under head coach Jimbo Fisher, including Amp McCLoud, Markus White and Tank Carradine. FSU is set to lose two senior defensive tackles to graduation in Derrick Mitchell and Nile Lawrence-Stample.
