Update: Fisher disclosed a relatively short injury report to the media after practice, announcing that Lorenzo Featherston (concussion), Cole Minshew (concussion), and Ja'vonn "Pigg" Harrison (concussion) will be unavailable against NC State. In addition, Fisher shared that Everett Golson will be the starting quarterback against the Wolfpack, stating that Sean Maguire is fine healthwise but Golson just had a good week of practice and will be rewarded with the start.

The 'Noles held their traditional Thursday practice today, donning shells to prepare for the NC State Wolfpack under cloudless skies.

Injured/Absent

Mario Pender remains out, and lineman Cole Minshew continues to spend time on the stationary bike. Mavin Saunders did not participate, but was running sprints on his own. Pigg Harrision was not present after suffering a concussion.

Offense

The first quarterback reps went to Everett Golson today, followed by Sean Maguire and J.J. Cosentino. Running back reps were allocated to Dalvin Cook, who practiced all week for the first time since tweaking his hamstring, Jacques Patrick, who is not wearing any type of ankle brace and looks fine, Freddie Stevenson, and Johnathan Vickers.

The offensive line starters, left to right, were Rod Johnson, Kareem Are, Alec Eberle, Wilson Bell, and Chad Mavety. The twos were comprised of Ethan Frith, Corey Martinez, Ryan Hoefeld, Joshua Peters, and Keith Weeks, as Brock Ruble was taking third-team RT reps.

Nyqwan Murray practiced, but after having his left ankle taped.

Defense

It looks like Terrance Smith is back for the time being, although he still has a brace on his right ankle. Lorenzo Featherston was still in a non-contact jersey, but Marcus Lewis did not wear one today. And Jalen Ramsey had his right wrist wrapped up as practice commenced.
