Clemson week is here, and the 'Noles took to the practice field to prepare for the Tigers today. FSU stayed inside due to rainy weather.

Injured/Absent:

Offensive lineman Derrick Kelly did not practice, nor did Cole Minshew, who rode the stationary bike. Lorenzo Featherston and Marcus Lewis did not participate for the defense.

Offense:

The quarterback reps went Sean Maguire, Everett Golson, J.J. Cosentino.

Dalvin Cook returned to practice today, the first Monday action he's seen since tweaking his hamstring at Wake Forest. He wore a brace on his left ankle. The first-team offensive line consisted of Rod Johnson, Chad Mavety, Alec Eberle, Wilson Bell, and Brock Ruble-- the same group that started against 'Cuse. The twos: Ethan Frith, Kareem Are, Ryan Hoefeld, who wore a compression sleeve on his left shoulder, Joshua Peters, and Keith Weeks.

Defense:

Linebacker Terrance Smith was back in action today; his return would be huge for FSU heading into the Clemson game. Freshman QB Deondre Francois was wearing a white No. 4 jersey, meaning he's simulating Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson for the FSU defense.

Special Teams:

The return team continues to practice vs. surprise onside kicks, and Tarvarus McFadden lined up with Pigg Harrison as the second-team deep men.

Up Next:

We'll also get a look at the Seminoles tomorrow, when FSU will open up some practice time to the media.
