Florida State fans will get their first look at the basketball team in action. After 7,000 fans showed up to the Jam with Ham, it's obvious that there is a lot of anticipation for the season. Tonight, that team will takes its first step in an exhibition game vs Lynn University.
Lynn, a Division II program in Boca Raton, advanced to last year's DII Sweet Sixteen. They averaged nearly 80 points per contest, and their pressure defense generated more than 11 steals a game. It will be good practice for a Noles squad learning how to play together.
Even with four players out with injuries (Montay Brandon, Michael Ojo, Brandon Allen, Christ Koumadje) the Noles still roll ten-deep, and you should expect all ten to play significant minutes.
The game tips at 7 PM from the Tuck, and will not be broadcast on television. Admission is free.
