Florida State Football wearing black alternate jerseys against Chattanooga.

For the first time since 2008, Florida State will wear black alternative jerseys in their game against Chattanooga. In an interview with the Sun Sentinel back in 2008, coach Bobby Bowden said, he "Would prefer his program to maintain a more traditional look," which is why FSU never wore the alternate jerseys more during his tenure, and is the presumed assumption for why the team haven't under Jimbo Fisher.

The 'Noles previewed their helmets when they practiced on Thursday, as everyone wore them. However, the practice uniforms were not different. Jimbo Fisher said after that practice that we would have to wait and see, not giving anything away prior to today.

The FSU vs Chattanooga game kicks off today at 3 PM EST on RSN and ESPN3 for the last time all season in Doak Campbell. It will also be the last time that every senior plays at home, with pre game celebrations taking place. All-time, the 'Noles are 2-0 against the Mocs who are ranked #8 in the FCS polls.
