Where is Florida State in the College Football Playoff rankings?

Did the Seminoles move up in the Week 13 rankings?

Melina Vastola-USA TODAY Sports

Coming off of an easy win over Chattanooga, the Florida State Seminoles saw a slight bump in the College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday, moving from No. 14 to No. 13. It's a small move up the board, but any rise in the ranks is a big one this time of year.

It also sets things up nicely for the season finale against the Florida Gators, who came in at No. 12 in this week's rankings. Also just ahead of the Seminoles are one-loss Oklahoma State at No. 11, two-loss Michigan at No. 10 and two-loss Stanford at No. 9.

Should Florida State defeat the Gators this upcoming weekend, a jump to No. 11 or No. 10 could be in order, depending on how the rest of the top teams fare. If things go the Seminoles' way on Saturday, they could potentially be the beneficiaries of a bump when either Stanford or Notre Dame (No. 6) pick up a loss this weekend.

Other ranked teams from the ACC include Clemson at No. 1 and North Carolina just behind the Seminoles at No. 14.

Despite the losses to Georgia Tech and Clemson, Florida State is still in good position to go to a big-time bowl this holiday season, which is a very impressive feat considering some of the struggles on offense this season.
