Jimbo Fisher ACC Teleconference Updates

At 10:40 AM EST on Wednesday, Jimbo Fisher will speak on the weekly ACC teleconference for approximately ten minutes.

Coach Fisher fully addressed the media on Monday, noting that a quarterback decision would not be made until Everett Golson was fully cleared from his concussion, however not ruling out the possibility of Sean Maguire starting. With Golson fully practicing the past two days, we may finally get an answer during the teleconference.

Florida State also got Dalvin Cook back as he has practiced the past two days following an ankle injury that held him out of Syracuse. With the success freshman RB Jacques Patrick had against Syracuse, totaling 229 all-purpose yards, there may be a rotation upcoming, however favoring Cook. In practice on Tuesday, Fisher had WR Kermit Whitfield working out with the running backs.

The biggest test will be if Florida State can gain momentum against a Clemson defense that held Miami to zero points. If the offense gains traction and the defense is able to contain Deshaun Watson, the Noles may come out of South Carolina with a win.

Florida State will take on Clemson this Saturday at 3:30 EST, looking for their fourth straight victory over the Tigers.
