The Spread: A rarity, as Florida State opened at +12 for the ACC showdown. The line has dropped a little as Clemson is now favored by 10.5.

There are tons of questions for Florida State going into this game. First, which QB gets the start? We likely won't get the official word until a couple hours until game time. Will Fisher use two QBs? How healthy are players like Dalvin Cook, Terrance Smith, and Nile Lawrence-Stample? These players might be able to play, but what kind of impact they are capable of is unknown. Clemson, on the other hand, doesn't have those questions. The Tigers have an excellent offense that has averaged almost 48 points in their last 4 games. The Tigers also have a stingy defense that should prove to be trouble for FSU's inexperienced o-line in a hostile environment. Yes, the 'Noles have some gifted play-makers, but if the o-line can't block Clemson's front, it won't matter which QB is under center. For Florida State to pull the upset, it will take an excellent game plan and a mess of luck.

Oh look, a meaningful ACC noon game. Duke is on the road to play division foe North Carolina. The Tar heels are the 8 point favorite. Duke will be looking to recover after an absolutely bizarre loss to Miami (FL). A UNC win will give them the clear edge in the Coastal. They would have to stumble in 2 of their last 3 ACC games to get knocked out. A win for Duke would mean they get to stay in the mix.
Pittsburgh has been playing good ball this year. Their two losses are to undefeated Iowa by 3 and UNC by 7. This weekend, they host Notre Dame. The Irish barely escaped Temple with a win last week. Perhaps Temple is that good. Perhaps Notre Dame is likes flirting with disaster. To be certain, Pitt is a solid team. A couple Irish mistakes and they could be in trouble.
November is here. That means it is time for some quality football (read this). This Saturday saves a couple SEC juggernauts for last. Number 2 LSU travels to number 4 Alabama. The Tide might be ranked lower, but they are the TD favorite at home. A loss by Bama MIGHT knocked them from consideration from the playoff, especially since LSU would take a commanding lead in the SEC West. We'll see what The Hat has up his sleeve to keep LSU in the top 4.
Yes, we're in November. That means you are running out of time to make ALL THE MONEY on college ball (results will vary). Time to educate yourself and prepare for crunch time by reading this weeks best bets.
