Florida State Football postseason award tracker

An up to date list on the awards given to members of the 2015 Florida State Football team.

After a very successful "rebuilding" season, the Florida State Seminoles finished up their season 10-2 with an upcoming trip to Atlanta for the Peach Bowl. Along with the successful season, many players were awarded for their efforts.

Junior DB Jalen Ramsey:

The AP, CBS Sports and USA Today voted him as a member of their All-American second team. He finished third in ACC coaches defensive player of the year award and was named to the first team All-ACC defense team. Ramsey also was named to the FWAA All-America second team. ESPN.com voted him onto their first team All-America squad.

Sophomore RB Dalvin Cook:

Despite being snubbed for the Heisman Trophy, Cook walked away with his share of honors. Those included the Jim Brown Award (best RB), and finishing second in ACC Player of the year voting and third in ACC offensive player of the year according to ACC coaches. He was also named to the All-ACC Coaches' and FWAA All-America first teams. The Miami native was named to the AP and CBS Sports All-American second teams.

Junior K Roberto Aguayo:

Aguayo was named to the USA Today All-America first team and the AP All-America second team following the season. He also made the All-ACC Coaches' first team.

Sophomore OL Rod Johnson:

Big Rod Johnson was named to the USA Today All-American second team and the All-ACC Coaches' first team. He also won the Jacob's Blocking Trophy this past season.

Freshman DB Derwin James:

James finished the season third in the All-ACC Coaches' defensive rookie of the year rankings. James was named to the ESPN.com All-America freshman team for the 2015 season.

Junior WR Kermit Whitfield:

Whitfield was named to two separate All-ACC Coaches' teams. He was on the second team as a wide receive and the third team as a specialist for his kick return ability.

Senior LB Reggie Northrup:

The senior finished the season as a member of the All-ACC Coaches' second team.

Junior DE Demarcus Walker:

The defensive end earned  All-ACC Coaches' third team honors for his effort during the season.

Sophomore WR Travis Rudolph:

Rudolph earned an All-ACC Coaches' honorable mention.

Junior OL Kareem Are:

Like Rudolph, Are earned himself an All-ACC Coaches' honorable mention.
