Florida State returned to practice Tuesday, participating on the Georgia Dome field for the second straight day while wearing shells.

Injured/Absent

Chad Mavety, who Jimbo Fisher said would be out for the Peach Bowl on Monday, and Lorenzo Featherston, who Fisher declared was "probably out", were both not practicing today. Also not participating in Tuesday's practice were Ermon Lane, Ryan Hoefeld, Keith Bryant, Derrick Mitchell, Cole Minshew and David Robbins.

For the second consecutive day, injured linebacker Tyrell Lyons was riding a stationary bike on the sideline as he rehabs from a torn ACL.

Offense

Sean Maguire continues to work first in quarterback reps with J.J Cosentino serving as the backup and Deondre Francois going third. They spent time working on various slant, post, and corner routes with the receiving corps.

The offensive line units were identical from Monday with Roderick Johnson, Kareem Are, Alec Eberle, Wilson Bell, and Brock Ruble working, left to right, as the first team and Ethan Frith, Joshua Peters, Corey Martinez, Willie Smith, and Keith Weeks across the line as their backups.

Johnathan Vickers was a full participant in practice for the second straight day. Tight end Ryan Izzo was a full participant in practice but had a partial wrap on his left foot and ankle.

Defense

Linebackers Reggie Northrup and Ro'Derrick Hoskins practiced with knee braces on, as they did on Monday.

Nate Andrews' cast that he has worn for the majority of the season has been modified so that it covers his arm from the elbow to the wrist but cuts off before the hand and allows him to wear gloves and catch balls.

Special Teams

Jalen Ramsey and Kermit Whitfield were the first-team kick returners and Bobo Wilson and Travis Rudolph practiced as the second-team return men.

Up Next

Coach Fisher will address the media at the conclusion of practice but this is the final bowl practice that will be open to the media.
