Florida State (3-0) disposed of an awful Oakland University team and now has to not lose focus this afternoon before a big road series this weekend. Their opponent (0-2) had a rough start to the weekend losing two of three to an average Middle Tennessee team.
The Seminoles will not face a team like Oakland for the rest of the season and fans should not put any stock into the performances that the players had in the weekend series. It will take a few weeks, if not longer to get an accurate picture of what this team will look like.
Florida State should be able to handle the Dolphins tonight but it can be a pain to travel to and from Tallahassee, play a game in between and then turn around a day later and head to Athens to take on Georgia.
