Dwayne Bacon named finalist for National Player of the Year

FSU signee Dwayne Bacon has named a finalist for the Naismith Trophy, which honors the top high school basketball player in the nation. He is joined by Jaylen Brown (Undecided), Malik Newman (Undecided), Ben Simmons (LSU), and Alzono Trier (Arizona).

Past winners of the award include Andrew Wiggins, Kevin Love, Dwight Howard, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Chris Webber.

The winner will be announced March 12.

Dwayne Bacon, a consensus 5* recruit, headlines a top-5 recruiting class for Florida State. The other members are 4*s Malik Beasley and Terance Mann, and 3* Jean Marc Christ Koumadje. All have signed their LOIs with FSU.
