Florida State women's basketball team has an opportunity to reach its program's second Elite 8 in history tonight when they take on Arizona State in Greensboro, NC. Tip off time is slated for 10:05 PM ET and will be televised on ESPN 2.

Arizona State (29-5, 15-3 Pac 12):

The Sun Devils reached the Sweet 16 round by defeating #14 seed Ohio in the first round and then coming back to beat #11 seed Arkansas Little Rock in round two. ASU has three players averaging in double figures led by Sophie Brunner at 11.9 PPG. The teams shoots it well from behind the arc connecting on 36% of their three point attempts. The key for them will be to limit Florida State's transition points and offensive rebounds as the FSU is at its best when strong in these categories.

Florida State (31-4, 14-2 ACC):

The Noles have been dominant in reaching the final 16 as they cruised past #15 seed Alabama State and overwhelmed a very good #7 seed in FGCU (ranked No. 20 in the polls). FSU has five girls averaging in double figures, led by Adut Bulgak (12.3 PPG, 9.7 RPG). Florida State has had a different player step up every game and the depth has been the key to their success in 2015. Shakayla Thomas will be key for the Noles as she has the talent to single handedly win ball games for her team. The play of point guard Leticia Romero, which has been superb this season will also be vital for FSU. If the Seminoles limit their turnovers and rebound the ball effectively they should pull away from Arizona State and win by double figures. There aren't many teams that can knock off the Noles when they on their "A" game.
