FSU is the No. 9 seed in the ACC Tournament

Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

With three teams finishing at 8-10 in conference, the ACC had to go to a tie breaker system. After all of the calculus was complete, FSU was inserted into the No. 9 spot at the ACC Tournament.

Florida State gets a bye and then will face Clemson in the 2nd round. The game will tip at noon on Wednesday from Greensboro. The winner will face Virginia on Thursday.

FSU and Clemson played twice this year, with each team winning on the road.

FSU has won at least one game in the ACCT in each of the past three seasons.
