Offensive Lineman Andrew Boselli committed to Florida State Thursday night, per his Twitter account. A composite 3 star, Boselli is an offensive guard prospect from Jacksonville's Episcopal School. Listed at 6'4" and 290 pounds, Boselli checks in as the #36 guard prospect in the country.
Boselli is the 14th commitment in Florida State's 2016 recruiting class, which is currently ranked #1 in the nation. Boselli joins Center prospect Baveon Johnson as the second offensive line commitment in the class.
Andrew is the son of famed former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Tony Boselli, a 5-time Pro Bowl selection at offensive tackle. The younger Boselli projects to play inside.
Episcopal OL Andrew Boselli on #FSU: "They were always at the top of my list, [I] went around saw a bunch of schools and decided [on FSU]"— Justin Barney (@JustinBarneyTU) April 17, 2015
Nice get for #FSU in Class of 2016 in Andrew Boselli. He's a baller. Says FSU likes him at center even though he's played more G-T in HS— Justin Barney (@JustinBarneyTU) April 17, 2015
Florida State beat out Duke, Miami and Penn State for the services of Boselli. Boselli is a strong addition to Rick Trickett's stable of linemen, which has been bolstered by multiple blue chip prospects in recent classes.
This one makes us all feel a little bit old.
