The first round of the 2015 NFL Draft begins at 8 ET Thursday. For the first time in decades, it will be held in Chicago and not New York. The first round will conclude by approximately 11:30 PM ET. In 2014, the first round consumed three hours and 39 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes per selection is permitted.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers hold the first overall pick and are expected to select former Florida State Seminoles QB Jameis Winston.
Other picks of interest for Florida State fans include the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 3, the Atlanta Falcons at No. 8 and the Miami Dolphins at No. 14.
Other first round hopefuls for the Seminoles include center Cam Erving and defensive tackle Eddie Goldman, with defensive end Mario Edwards, Jr. and cornerbacks Ronald Darby and P.J. Williams being dark horses.
Television coverage of the first round will be carried by both ESPN and the NFL Network.
