After a couple of closed practices, FSU opened things up to the media again today, allowing reporters access to the final Wednesday session of fall camp. Scouts from the Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, and St. Louis Rams took in the action.

Offense

Freshman wide receiver George Campbell returned from an unspecified head injury to practice again, but in a non-contact jersey and shorts, and first-year QB Deondre Francois was at it again as well. Offensive linemen David Robbins and Ethan Frith practiced again too, and the latter is no longer in a non-contact jersey. Huge freshman Cole Minshew is not only back from an ankle injury, he was taking first-team reps at right guard. Alec Eberle got some first-team center work as well. Tight end Jeremy Kerr practiced in a non-contact jersey.

Defense

Once again, transfer linebacker Lorenzo Phillips was able to participate in full pads, while Sh'Mar Kilby-Lane remains in a non-contact jersey. Frosh corner Tarvarus McFadden continued to practice after missing time with a hamstring injury, and Calvin Brewton returned from the same injury.

Special Teams

Roberto Aguayo was kicking 50-yard field goals before practice, and making them by about 15 yards. Freshman kicker Kevin Robledo also popped some through from 50.

Injured/Absent

Jalen Ramsey sat out today, wearing his jersey and shorts around practice. Jimbo Fisher said after practice that he tweaked an ankle, but that if FSU had a game today, he could have played. Reggie Northrup did not suit up either, and Mario Pender remains out. Pender has a quad injury, but Fisher remarked that he could be back tomorrow or the day after.

Defensive end Lorenzo Featherston is still walking with the help of crutches on his recently scoped knee. Chris Casher, who underwent the same procedure, was present, but I didn't see him wearing a knee wrap. DT Justin Shanks is still not practicing and has a brace on his right ankle. Freshman WRs Auden Tate and Nyqwan Murray were throwing a ball around but not participating. Fisher said Tate has a staph infection in his thumb, while Murray has a broken knuckle and will miss about three weeks. Freshman OL Abdul Bello did not practice and has a brace on his right knee. Marcus Lewis sat out as well.

Next Practice

FSU will hit the field again tomorrow in a closed practice.
