As August turns into September, MLB teams are now allowed to carry their 40-man roster at the MLB level for the rest of the season. That means starting September 1st, you will see many more 'Noles playing throughout the rest of the season who were in the minors. In injury news, after still experience shoulder soreness, Toronto Blue Jays 2B Devon Travis got his second cortisone shot and has reportedly had no progress in his rehab. Here's the breakdown from the rest of the week.
Sean Gilmartin RP New York Mets:
Gilmartin had two extended appearances this past week, going 1 2/3 and 3 1/3 innings without giving up a run. He struck out seven along the way and picked up his third win of the season. Gilmartin has thrown at least 1 2/3 innings in his last five appearances.

Shane Robinson OF Minnesota Twins:
Robinson had three hits in 13 at bats this past week including a double. He added an RBI, a stolen base and two runs in his four games played.

Randy Choate RP St. Louis Cardinals:
Choate appeared in four games, pitching a total of 2/3 of an inning giving up two hits and striking out one.

Buster Posey C San Fransisco Giants:
Buster Posey got a day off on Saturday, but in the five days prior went 4-19 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs. To this date, Posey is having his second worst month of the season, hitting .276 in August, causing his batting average to drop from .324 to .313.

Stephen Drew 2B New York Yankees:
Drew continues to make everyone question why he remains in the starting lineup. He went 1-15 this past week.
