In his press conference today before the start of fall camp, Jimbo Fisher took some time to consult his injury report and announce the status of multiple FSU players entering camp.
Reggie Northrup, Terrance Smith, and Tyler Hunter, will all be participating fully in fall camp.
Ryan Hoefeld (knee) and Deondre Francois (leg) will participate in some aspects but will be limited and monitored closely by the coaching and medical staff.
Josh Sweat (knee) will take part in individual drills but will be kept out of all contact and team drills.
Marcus Lewis, whose eligibility status has been under question in recent weeks, will be at the practice today.
Lorenzo Phillips, the JUCO LB transfer, has had slight issues with moving his academic transcript over from his previous school but he has a chance to practice today and should be there in the next few days, if not today.
As Fisher has previously stated, Matthew Thomas (shoulder) is out indefinitely.
Overall academically, Fisher said that the team is in good shape entering the season but that a few players taking summer classes are waiting on their final summer grades to be released which should happen this weekend and clear up any possible eligibility issues.
