- The Tallahassee Democrat's Safid Deen notes how FSU looks to get substantially healthier during the bye week.
- At ESPN Jared Shanker reports on Fisher's optimism for the offense. This offense certainly can improve but how much is questionable due to youth the offense has across the board.
- On the other hand Golson has done a better job of protecting the ball than he did while at Notre Dame as Tom D'Angelo from the Palm Beach Post writes.
- Jack McClusky, from Grantland, questions whether or not Golson can lead FSU to the playoffs.
Golson does not need to the Seminoles, who won a national title two years ago and made it to the penultimate contest last year. WithF a stout defense and a running back, FSU was going to be good again in 2015 regardless of how the quarterback derby shook out. But for FSU to be good enough to bank another berth in the College Football Playoff, Fisher certainly needs Golson to be better than just another guy.
- Florida is experimenting with blood flow restriction training to promote quicker healing. As Andy Staples points out many NFL teams have already begun doing this.
- The ACC has some intriguing match ups but this....this is not one of them. The Cuse have valid concerns about this game.

A 5-star running back? Yeah, FSU would work pretty well.
