Florida State Baseball MLB Update: Week 23

A weekly installment looking back at the previous week in the MLB at the performances of former Florida State Baseball players.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

The final week of the season is coming up, meaning some of the former Noles will get some much needed rest before the postseason. Sean Gilmartin RP New York Mets:

Gilmartin rebounded form a tough week well, throwing 4 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball. Gilmartin, in just his first season in the MLB, will still be in uniform in October as the Mets won the NL East, making their first postseason appearance since 2008.
