Several players were off this past weekend, but the players that did play put up some impressive stats.
Malik Henry looked good in his second week of action as Long Beach Poly defeated Wilson, 67-30. Henry is splitting reps with Nolan McDonald. Malik was responsible for throwing 2 touchdowns and also running in a touchdown.
Staying with the QB theme, 2018 target Joey Gatewood and Bartram Trail, fell to St Augustine 24-17 in overtime. Gatewood had a touchdown run (fumbled and recovered by teammate) in the loss.
2017 Defensive Back, Stanford Samuels III, continued filling in at quarterback in Flanagan's 42-0 win over Western. Samuels only played one half due to the score. He was 9/14 for 90 yards and had a 37 yard touchdown run in the win.
Wide Receiver target, Nate Craig-Myers, was held to only 50 yards on 6 receptions in Tampa Catholic's 49-28 loss to Clearwater Central Catholic. Craig-Myers did have a 34 yard touchdown catch.
Defensive back recruit, Levonta Taylor, continues to show he is impressive on both sides of the ball. He had 2 touchdown receptions in Ocean Lakes 55-6 win over Green Run.
I dont have any specific stats for Keith Gavin, but Jimbo showed up to watch some of his and Wakulla's win over East Gadsden.
Keep checking back for more updates on all the recruits and targets. If you know of any other stats, let us know in the comments.
