Florida State basketball gets a rematch with Clemson

The game tips Saturday at Noon from the Tuck, where there will be free bacon for fans (seriously)

Dawson Powers-USA TODAY Sports

It's the second time around for FSU-Clemson, and to preview the game we asked the Clemson blog Shakin' the Southland some questions, and we answered questions about Florida State for them. Check those out.

The Tigers come in at 13-7 (6-2), a half game behind Louisville for 2nd place in the conference. But thanks to some questionable losses in the out of conference season, they're currently projected to be on the wrong side of the bubble, while Florida State (13-7, 3-5) was listed as a 10-seed in today's bracket from CBS.

A Florida State win will go a long way toward solidifying the Noles position, while a loss could drop them back to the wrong side of the bubble.

The last time these two teams met, Clemson jumped out to a 12-2 lead, and Florida State was never able to recover thanks to Jordan Roper hitting 7-10 3s.

Florida State is currently a 3.5 point favorite to get it done.

The game tips at noon and will be broadcast regionally on the ACC Network, and ESPN3.
