A reflective Dalvin Cook discusses Florida State’s loss vs. UNC

Florida State Dalvin Cook was the first player in school history to record 100 yards passing and rushing in the same game today against UNC — However, it was in a losing effort.

“There are just some things you can’t control. Like I said, we went out there and did our part on the offensive side. But we are a team, we win as a team, we lost as a team. So we got to put our defense in a better situation.”

Cook then turned his attention to winning the state of Florida as the team begins its second of three in-state games next week with a visit to Miami. “We took care of South Florida last week and got to take care of Miami this week.”

When asked about the mood in the locker room, Cook responded “Well, it’s a loss, you know? Everyone is going to be upset when you lose. It’s a losing locker room and everyone is down right now.”
