Football:

Many pundits aren’t mentioning Dalvin Cook in regards to the Heisman; SportsIllustrated is not one of them.

When coach Jimbo Fisher told reporters after the Seminoles' blowout loss at Louisville that nothing was wrong with Cook, we probably should have believed him. he ran all over No. 10 Miami to push Florida State to a one-point win in a rivalry game in primetime. Cook now leads all Power 5 players in all-purpose yards per game.

Not only is Dalvin one of the most explosive runners in the country but now he’s one of the most explosive receivers too.

Here’s what to watch for in Week 7 in the ACC.

When guys like Brad Kaaya & Deondre Francois are maybe the 5th & 6th best quarterbacks in the conference; the quarterback depth in the conference must be elite.

Here is film review from the Miami game both offensive & defensive; again it is highly recommended that you do not try to view this on mobile, big tablets & screens are preferable.

If nothing else you have to watch the ending video in this week’s Crow’s Nest.

Ermon Lane is revitalized & in the fast lane when it comes to his new position at safety. With the season ending pectoral injury to senior safety Nate Andrews look for an increased role in the junior’s playing time.

Here’s the best from this week’s Jimbo Fisher Call-in Show.

While not everyone is eliminated from college football playoff contention; according to Foxsports only 8 teams are good enough to win the national title.

If you thought FSU’s block of Miami’s extra point was the craziest blocked XP of the week; think again.

Those teams that tend to under-recruit but over-perform? They’re coming back down to earth. Who’s going to replace them?

This two round 2017 NFL Mock draft features three Seminoles.

Chalk Talk with senior defensive end Demarcus Walker:

Recruiting:

In case you missed three star OL Brady Scott committed to FSU. His profile says he’s 260lbs but he says he’s 290lbs; if he really is 290lbs then he carries that weight very well.

Elite 5 star Running Back Cam Akers talked about his finalists here.

"Florida State is a good school and it's a good situation for me with Dalvin leaving and me being able to come in and compete for playing time on the field. I definitely get a home feel. The people there are very family oriented but they also take care of business."

Other Sports:

A little good news bad news. Good news: This might be the most talented squad of the Coach Hamilton era. Bad news: The ACC is incredibly deep this year; 11 teams could make the NCAA tournament.

Alumni:

Former FSU RB Karlos Williams is reuniting with his brother former FSU LB Vincent Williams in Pittsburgh.

Former FSU WR Marvin ‘Snoop’ Minnis was sure to take out his trash this week:

Y'all thought it was over! It's trash day Lol!
