Florida State RB Dalvin Cook rushed for 115 yards in a victory over Wake Forest, however lost two fumbles on the day.
“Both of them, got my body in weird situations and some awkward ways, and the ball came out...I ran those plays a lot of times, but they just showed some different looks.”
Cook, following his first fumble, was on the ground in pain following the play, and had to be helped off the field by the medical staff. On the next drive, Cook split carries with Jacques Patrick before eventually getting his normal workload back.
“It was an awkward hit, but I got a week to heal up...I definitely lost my wind.”
The star running back emphasized the importance of the upcoming bye week, a week before the team will be Clemson at Doak Campbell.
“Got two weeks to prepare, and a week to heal...This bye week is going to be very important.”
