QB Deondre Francois following Florida State’s victory over Wake Forest

The quarterback spoke about his connection with Travis Rudolph throughout the game.

Following Florida State’s 17-6 victory over Wake Forest on Saturday, QB Deondre Francois spoke about his performance, and his connections with Travis Rudolph throughout the game.

The junior receiver caught 238 of Francois’ 319 passing yards, a new career high and almost doubled his 259 yards the entire season before this game.

“Travis (Rudolph) is a very talented receiver, he was in the right places at the right times. Certain reads, I needed to go to him, and made great catches.”

Francois also spoke about the upcoming bye week, and its implications before the team will take on Clemson.

“It’s very important because it gives us a chance to heal up, a chance to correct early season mistakes, and a chance to catch up on school work and other things outside of football that we need to take care of.”
