Following practice on Monday, Florida State RB Dalvin Cook spoke about this weekend’s road game at Miami, where the standout junior calls home.
“Just thinking about Miami winning irks my nerves. Going down there and playing them , Kayaa is a special talent, he’s been having a great year and we gotta go contain him.”
Cook has a tendency to play well against Miami, rushing for 222 yards in last year’s meeting with over 100 all-purpose yards in the 2014 game.
With the College Football Playoff hopes now faded after a second loss, Cook was asked about what constitutes a successful season here on out.
“Just win every game — win every day. That’s just our mindset. Forget the games, win every day, and when the game comes, take care of that...That’s the mindset in the meeting room, the practice field. In the meeting room, whatever coach Fisher has to say, listen to that.”
