After Florida State’s 37-34 loss to Clemson, Jimbo Fisher was quick to voice his opinion at the calls from the ACC officiating crew late in the game. In particular, a 50-yard rush by Dalvin Cook was called back on what the officiating crew thought was a chop block from fullback Freddie Stevenson.
"Ridiculous, it was not a chop...It's garbage," Fisher went on to say before calling the extra 15-yard penalty assessed for arguing “cowardly.” The ‘Noles would go on to punt the ball, and Clemson would score a field goal on the ensuing possession before going on to win by three.
In the third quarter, DB Trey Marshall was ejected on yet, another questionable call. After review, the penalty was announced as confirmed. "I didn't think it was targeting I still don’t...Whoever was in the booth was bad too."

Throughout the press conference, Fisher kept referring back to the penalties that caused a momentum shift. “Its a critical call. What do you want? The guy is 230 pounds.”
Fisher then went on to talk about a hit that knocked QB Deondre Francois out a play, saying that should have been called for targeting. He emphasized his stance and said he will contact the ACC about the calls.
ESPN’s cameras caught Fisher with some very choice words for the officials.
