Update:

Florida State is ranked No. 19 in the AP Poll and USA Today Coaches Poll.

Following its third loss of the season, a 37-34 defeat at the hands of Clemson, Florida State will see a drop in its rankings when the latest polls are released on Sunday.

The ‘Noles came into Saturday’s game ranked No. 12 in the AP Poll. No. 7 Nebraska, No. 8 Baylor, No. 10 West Virginia, No. 13 Boise State, No. 17 Utah, No. 18 Tennessee and No 22 Navy all suffered the same fate as FSU. With the multitude of teams to lose, it benefits FSU as it reduces the number of teams that will skip it, and the Seminoles should be ranked roughly from No. 17 to No. 19 when the polls are released.

In the USA Today Coaches poll, FSU was No. 14. In that poll, No. 6 Nebraska, No. 6 Baylor (teams were tied), No. 9 West Virginia, No. 13 Boise State, No. 16 Utah, No. 18 Tennessee and No. 22 Navy all fell. In the end, FSU should wind up around the No. 20 position.
