FSU Football injury report for Miami: ‘Noles relatively healthy

Who won’t suit up against the ‘Canes

Typically, prior to road games, the Seminoles depart for the airport after head coach Jimbo Fisher’s Thursday evening media session. But that was not the case this week, as Fisher announced that the current plan is to take off for south Florida on Friday morning around 10 am, due to Hurricane Matthew.

But in a week characterized by uncertainty surrounding the rivalry showdown between the ‘Noles and Hurricanes, one thing remained the same: the Thursday evening delivery of FSU’s weekly injury report. To no one’s surprised, star safety Derwin James remains out after undergoing knee surgery, and Florida State is down a bit at running back depth with Johnathan Vickers sitting this one out as well. But other than that, the Seminoles are in pretty good shape, especially for week six.
