When QB Deondre Francois was knocked out of the game with an injury for the second time of the night in FSU’s victory over Miami, nothing was going to stop Francois from getting back on the field. He was seen talking to Fisher after the incident, and explained what was said postgame.
“Told him I’m good. I’m ready to go.”
“You feel good?”
“Yeah, I feel good. I mean, it didn’t matter..I’m the quarterback of this team, They needed me, so I went back into the game.”
“How much pain were you in?”
“I was in some pain, Miami got to me pretty good, they hit me a couple times, but pain or no pain...even with pain, I blocked it out, focus on my job.”
Francois went to throw for 152 yards on 11-13 passing in the second half with both of his touchdown passes.
