In Florida State’s victory over Wake Forest on October 15th, wide receiver Bobo Wilson was carted off the field following a foot injury. With a bye week to heal, Wilson was still not healthy enough to return against Clemson this past Saturday, and will miss the team’s upcoming game at NC State, head coach Jimbo Fisher announced following Tuesday’s practice.
When asked if the injury would cause him to miss an extended period of time, Fisher replied, “probably.”
“I’m not a doctor, I don’t know, I tell you guys that and that’s what I think, we’ll wait and see.”
At the time of the injury, the senior from Miami was the team’s leading receiver with 390 receiving yards and had one touchdown.
In his place at receiver, sophomore Nyqwan Murray filled in against Clemson and caught his first touchdown catch to go along with a team leading 96 receiving yards. Murray also filled in at punt return duties, which Wilson held before the injury.
