Florida State football, recruiting news: Friday Night Football in Tallahassee

FSU looks to shutdown BC

Football:

For the first time; Florida State will host a Friday Night Football game & Jimbo Fisher isn’t the only coach in the area unhappy about it.

“Playing college football on Friday night is a slap in the face to high school football, which is the lifeblood of the college game,” said Crews, the former football coach at Tallahassee Godby. ”It’s not the school’s faults. It’s ESPN and the hierarchy of college football, the conferences, who are doing this. We’re being squeezed out because of money.

Meanwhile WJXT says that Florida State should be used to short weeks.

While the seniors will be spotlighted on Senior Day; they themselves are shifting the focus to their younger teammates as their FSU careers come to a close.
