The penultimate Florida State injury report for the 2016 regular season was released on Thursday night, and it certainly reflects the wear and tear that a long, grueling schedule can have on a football team.
The ‘Noles will be without the services of linebacker Jacob Pugh for their road game against the Syracuse Orange. Pugh has been one of the Seminoles’ most consistent defenders this season, and Head Coach Jimbo Fisher mentioned Brian Burns as one who could step up and take some of Pugh’s reps. Pugh’s backup is listed as freshman Josh Brown, but Brown is injured as well.
On the offensive side of the ball, Rick Leonard will get the start at right tackle, while Brock Ruble, dealing with a leg injury, should be available in a backup capacity.
