Florida State’s seniors pulled off a first Saturday night against the Florida Gators. For the first time in FSU history, a senior class went a perfect 4-0 against Florida and 4-0 against the Miami Hurricanes.

In 2013, Florida State fielded one of the most dominant teams in college football history, winning the National Championship. That season FSU beat Miami 41-14, and beat Florida 37-7.

In 2014, Florida State beat Miami 30-26, and took down Florida by a score of 24-19.

In 2015, FSU beat Miami 29-24, and took down Florida 27-2.

And in 2016, FSU beat Miami 20-19, and Florida by a score of 31-13.

The previous best marks were set by the 1999, 2013, 2014, and 2015 classes, who all went 7-1 against FSU’s rivals in the regular season. The 1999 class finished 7-2, losing the Sugar Bowl to Florida.

Under Jimbo Fisher, Florida State is a combined 13-1 against the Canes and Gators, with the lone loss coming in 2012.
