At the beginning of the 2016 campaign, Florida State’s defense, with high expectations heading into the season, did not perform as many would have thought.
“I never had doubts. The plays that were being made on us were easy fixables. It’s just a matter of time until we improved and everyone did their job.
McFadden leads the nation in interceptions with eight, and has been a key player in the FSU secondary.
With the plethora of injuries to the Florida State defense, it has made a big impact on this year’s unit. However, when everyone is healthy and back next year, along with the new additions, McFadden has bold aspirations for the squad.
“I feel like our defense is going to be the best defense in the country next year.”
