Florida State came from behind and saw its defense prevent a score on the final drive in the victory at NC State on Saturday.
Fisher started his presser by saying, “Extremely proud of our guys.”
“That was a huge win for us, I hope we can continue to build.”
The coach also noted some downfalls in the win, pointing out the numerous dropped passes from receivers and the third down conversations by NC State.
When talking about the play of leading receiver Nyqwan Murray, Fisher was happy with his performance, however said the sophomore still has some technical flaws that need to be worked out. “He’s got a chance to become a really good player.”
With the victory, FSU becomes bowl eligible for the 35th consecutive year, with Fisher not hesitating when recalling when that last losing season was (1981).
