At 1 PM EST on Monday, Florida State football head coach Jimbo Fisher will hold his weekly press conference. The team is coming off its sixth win of the season following a 24-20 final score at NC State, and has become bowl eligible for the 35th consecutive season.
Offensively against the Wolfpack, sophomore WR Nyqwan Murray led the team for the second straight game in receiving yards, filling in for the injured Bobo Wilson. Running back Dalvin Cook was held to just 65 rushing yards, and still needs 126 yards to break the all-time Florida State rushing record.
On the opposite side of the ball, Florida State had a big defensive stand to keep NC State out of the end zone on its final drive of the game. Notably, sophomore DB Tarvarus McFadden intercepted his NCAA leading seventh pass of the season and the ‘Noles will be without freshman DE Brian Burns for the first half against BC, stemming from a targeting penalty at NC State.
Florida State now prepares for Boston College on a shortened week as the team’s will play each other Friday Night at Doak Campbell Stadium.
David Visser of Tomahawk Nation will be at the press conference, providing live updates in the comments section below.
