Florida State football in the latest College Football Playoff rankings

Where will Florida State rank in the latest CFP rankings?

At 7 PM on Tuesday night, the latest College Football Playoff rankings will be released on ESPN. The ‘Noles entered Week 10 of the season ranked No. 22, before defeating the NC State Wolfpack on the road 24-20.

Despite the victory, FSU fell in the AP poll to No. 20 and only rose one spot in the coaches poll, showing there may not be much movement by the ‘Noles once the latest CFP rankings are released.

In the rankings last week, No. 17 Baylor, No. 13 LSU, No. 11 Florida, No. 10 Nebraska, and No. 4 Texas A&M all dropped its games. If following the trend of the latter polls this week, the ‘Noles should only jump Baylor, into the No. 21 spot.

In the first College Football playoff rankings of the season released last week, the ‘Noles were the only 5-3 team included, just in front of an undefeated, 8-0 Western Michigan squad.
