Once again, Florida State football will be without DB Derwin James who continues to rehab from a torn meniscus suffered vs. Charleston Southern. He was seen warming up with fellow DB Trey Marshall prior to the NC State game, and was moving fluidly, however will miss the team’s upcoming home game vs. BC.
Marshall, who missed that NC State game with concussion-like symptoms, was not on this week’s injury report, and chances are that he could play on Friday.
DE Jalen Wilkerson, who missed last week’s game with a concussion, will miss a second consecutive game this Friday.
A new addition to the injury list is LB Josh Brown, who has been ruled out with a foot injury. The freshman has played in all nine games, primarily on special teams, and has recorded two tackles.
Another addition is sophomore DB Marcus Lewis, who is dealing with a hip injury. In eight games played, he has made 21 tackles and one interception.
